Tip 1. Use copper rods and hand hammering to install
This is an easy way to install small and medium-sized bearings. When the inner ring of the bearing is a tight fit and the outer ring is a loose fit, the copper rod is pressed close to the end face of the inner ring of the bearing, and the copper rod is directly hit with a hammer, and the bearing is slowly installed on the shaft by transmitting force through the copper rod.
When the inner ring of the bearing is large, the copper rod can be used to knock evenly around the end face of the inner ring of the bearing, do not knock only on one side, nor too hard, to symmetrical knock, gently knock slowly installed, so as not to install the inclined crack bearing.
Tip 2. Use sleeve installation
This method is the same as using copper rod to install bearings. It is to press the sleeve directly on the bearing end face, knock with a hand hammer, and the force can be evenly distributed on the installed bearing entire ring end face.
Tip 3, press method
The installation pressure should be directly applied to the end face of the interference fit bearing ring, otherwise it will cause compression damage on the working surface of the bearing, resulting in rapid damage to the bearing.
Tip 4, heating installation
For bearings with large interference or large size, in order to facilitate installation, the principle of thermal expansion and cold contraction can be used to heat the bearings in the oil tank and install them with copper rods, sleeves and hand hammers. When heating, the temperature is generally controlled below 100 ° C, and 80-90 ° C is more appropriate.
